Steven Lopez Will Design Showroom for Ruby Mac’s 2006 Line.
December 27-29, 2005 Billerica Ma.
Mr. Lopez has been commissioned to design the permanent showroom of Ruby Mac at the Northeast Market Center.
Ruby Mac is the hip new licensed brand that caters to the fun lifestyle of young girls. Earlier this year the representatives of Ron Gilefsky & Company acknowledged the licensed brand as a hot item and chose to represent the line to the six New England states. The accord between the two companies will allow Lopez to create a showroom installation. “I want to make this happen for both parties”, says Lopez.
The president of Ruby Mac, Cindy Keizman has seen Steven as a key component. “Steven has played an integral part in the developing stages of the brand. He has the ability to create the lifestyle face that is whimsical, happy and cute.”
His youthful spirit has always kept him close to children. For the past 8 years he’s been involved in community outreach and after-school programs. Lopez says, “I like thinking in the young perspective. It gives me freedom from an otherwise rigid adult life. It helps when I get asked to do projects like these”. When asked about his objective for the showroom he responded: “I want to entice the viewer into seeing an animated girls room. It’s a little inspiration of Alice in prep-school wonderland.”
Jynnifer Stine, a spokesperson for Gilefsky is pleased to have Steven aboard. “We are excited to see the finish product. Steven’s deep appreciation of the brand’s unique message will allow him to instigate both companies efforts in this key region.”
