Steven Lopez teams with Global Inheritance to help Fuel TV
For: January 17th-27th, 2006 Park City, Ut.
Fuel TV has transformed a 6 bedroom, ski-in/out, 5 story property into an experience for the X-dance and Sundance Film Festival. The transformation will include events featuring live design, press conferences, media screenings, fashion fittings, VIP learn-to-ride programs and merchandise. Fuel TV has selected key industry and out of industry partners to compliment the Fuel TV Chalet experience- 686 outerwear, Global Inheritance, Activision, Myspace, Project Hello and Keep-a-Breast Foundation.
Lopez was asked by Global Inheritance ( www.globalinheritance.org ) founder Eric Ritz to join in. “I’ve worked with Steven in the past- he does credible work and we feel very lucky to have him on this project”, said Ritz. Lopez worked with GI during the 05 Coachella festival and was satisfied with the results. “ I felt good working with Eric and GI. With all the ways that art can be misappropriated- I smile knowing that my work is being used for earth awareness”. Global Inheritance pushes to reinvent activism for today's young generation. Their initiatives focus on the power of creativity to communicate and push for progressive social change while rejecting conflict.
As part of the TRASHed program, Global Inheritance will feature 10 customized recycling bins, featuring artwork from Lopez and several of today’s top action sport designers and street artists. These bins will premiere exclusively at the Fuel TV Chalet- located at 561 Woodside Ave., Park City, Utah. The television show will invite and host select action sport and entertainment media, along with celebrities and elite names in the action sports industry.
